Building the Future of Cruise Travel, With CruiseHub

I’m Marcus, the Founder & CEO of CruiseHub. When I started this company in early 2024, it wasn’t from a big office or some shiny downtown building. It was from a small condo and a cubicle inside Momentum Ventures in Montreal. My goal wasn’t to build just another travel company. I wanted to create something that actually helps people. Something that takes the confusion out of booking a cruise and brings the human connection back into it.

Let’s be honest, booking a cruise can be tricky. There are so many choices. Royal Caribbean or Carnival? Balcony stateroom in category 9C or 8A or maybe something else entirely? It can start to feel like a puzzle with too many pieces. That’s why CruiseHub is built around people, not algorithms. Our team knows cruises inside and out. They guide every customer step by step until everything feels right. No guessing, no stress, just smooth sailing.

One of my favorite memories is from our very first customer, Marry. She booked a Bahamas cruise on the Celebrity Summit just a few days after we launched. At that point, CruiseHub had only one employee, and that was me. I spent two full days going over every detail with her. When she finally booked, it felt like a major win. But the night before her trip, she called in a panic. Her husband had locked his passport in a safe, and they couldn’t open it. It felt like the whole vacation might fall apart. We talked through every possible solution until we found a way to get it open. They made it to their cruise, and I still remember how relieved and excited she sounded on the phone.

That experience made me realize something important. CruiseHub isn’t just about booking a trip. It’s about being there for people from start to finish. From the moment someone dreams about a vacation to the moment they return home, our job is to care, to listen, and to make things easier. That’s what sets us apart.

Ten months later, we’ve helped nearly 4,000 travelers like Marry, and we’re just getting started. Our mission has stayed the same: to make booking a cruise better through genuine human connection. And our vision is clear. We want CruiseHub to be the first name people think of when they’re ready to sail, no matter where they are in the world.
